New Delhi – Union Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare, Smt. Anupriya Patel, addressed the Regional Conclave at the Global Food Regulators Summit 2024, emphasizing the need for enhanced regional collaboration in food safety. She called for unity in pooling resources, sharing technical expertise, and aligning strategies to elevate the Asia region’s role in shaping international food standards.
In her speech, Smt. She also stressed the importance of setting standards for emerging sectors such as aquaculture, processed foods, and organic farming, while adapting to new technologies like biotechnology and sustainable farming.
